Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2 - National Beauty Institute

The National Beauty Institute is a progressive, new style of training school based in London and Leicester. We run our fast track and intensive courses in a salon environment where we have made the departure from old style training rooms with rows of beauty beds, to a live running training salon with real live clients for you to practice your skill on, giving you the most authentic and fully interactive experience.

You may simply want to expand your skill set, or use the course to re-skill and be brought up to date with relevant national standards. This course is also suitable for individuals of all ages who want to enter the fast growing beauty industry, and who want to become qualified and earning in the shortest period of time.

Your training will take the form of a combination of practical training, portfolio work and home study sessions, with your skills being assessed through work based evidence throughout the course. This means no ‘end of course’ exams.

This course will cover the following Modules:
• Waxing (Free Kit)
• Facials and Skincare (Free Kit)
• Make Up (Free Brush Set)
• Manicure (Free Kit)
• Pedicure (Free Kit)
• Lash and Brows (Free Kit)
• Threading (Free Kit)
• False Eyelashes (Free Kit)
• Spray Tanning (No Kit)

The cost of this course is usually £2950* but we have an Spring sale for just £2450 for the full course.

The course also includes the following units for home study:
• Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety
• Promote additional services or products to clients
• Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
• Fulfil salon reception duties


Course Dates

This course can be completed in as little as 6 weeks subject to you completing and passing all modules and completing your coursework.

Option 1 = 2 Weekdays for 6 - 10 weeks

Option 2 = Saturdays for - 12 -14 weeks

As you walk out of our doors after completing your course you will not only have learnt a new skill and the theory behind that skill, but you will also have achieved the first hurdle – that of having treated your first client. From then on you will have already practised your newly acquired treatment sufficiently to be able to market your service to your existing and future client base with confidence.

This is why we offer all of our delegates the London Beauty Institute Guarantee which is that if you feel you have not mastered techniques taught within our classes then you are invited back to retake the relevant course or part of course, free of charge. All our courses are designed to initiate full involvement of the delegates. You will also be given a manual to take away to ensure that you have something to refer to when you are carrying out your first treatments and soundly back up your knowledge.
