Course program
If you need to comply with the BS7671-2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations (IEE Wiring Regulations - 17th Edition) then this award is for you. It covers topics such as protection for safety, selection and erection of equipment, inspection as well as testing to meet the standards of these Requirements for Electrical Installations. Assessment is by means of an on-line multiple choice examination.

Main Electrical Training
We provide electrical training courses for career changers and also for existing electricians wishing to update or improve their skills.
For career changers Main Electrical Training offers flexible, home study courses interspersed around 6 separate weeks practical skills training at our centre. The training can be fit around current work commitments and lifestyle. It allows for study at your own pace and at your own times. We also do a 17 day fast-track domestic installer course.
For existing electricians we offer various City & Guilds courses in our centre at Watford. These include the 17th edition wiring regulations, 2377 PAT testing, 2393 Building Regs and 2391 Inspection and Testing. We also do Part P courses.
