What you will study

What you will study

All our DCPC sessions are based around you the driver and they are aimed at improving and updating your knowledge and helping you to become a safer and more informed driver. The sessions include modules on drivers' hours, didgtal and analogue tachograph, driver health and well-being, vehicle dynamics, loading, the law, customer service, first aid, scene of accident scenario, vehicle heights and weights, driving technique, manual handling and much more.

How you will learn

All sessions are classroom taught and can be split into three-and-a-half hour sessions or can be seven hours in duration. Please note: If you choose the three-and-a-half hour session, the second session must be taken within 24 hours of the first session in order to qualify for seven hours' approved training.

Attendance

Five days' training to complete the 35 hours' DSA approved training required to qualify for your DQC (driver qualification card). Can be taken en bloc or separate days although all training must be complete before the first deadline of September 2013 for PCV and September 2014 for HGV.
