Course program
During this Design and Develop a Website training course participants will have the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of HTML, the 'language' of the internet, and about the various technologies and programming languages used in modern websites. This is a practical one2one workshop style training course, using the professional's choice for visual site development - Adobe Dreamweaver - with the aim of designing and producing a Web Site with graphic rich content, hyperlinks and forms, that will be created and tested during the web training course. This software training course is totally interactive and delegates are encouraged to bring examples of the type of work they want to produce. Topics covered include:

CGT offers hands-on, tutor-led, computer graphics software training for the creative, media and design industry, as well as for individuals.
CGT's bespoke courses are delivered by experienced tutors either in our high-tech studio or on-site at a client's premises and can be tailored to individual requirements. Course content is designed to ensure that you and your organisation achieve maximum efficiency and productivity in the shortest possible time.
Our aim is to provide the most flexible training service possible. We employ the latest technology combined with traditional and contemporary training methods of hands-on tutor-led training with books, CDs and video, as appropriate, to suit each individual.
All of our trainers have years of experience in computer graphics, are industry experts, and use the programs they teach on a day to day basis in their workplace.
On public courses attendees will find that they are normally taught in general terms about each software application, which can provide an excellent overview. However, with our customised bespoke courses we tailor each course exactly to your needs, covering only those parts of any application that are essential to you and your organisation. As a result, individuals and organisations alike tend to find that bespoke training although seemingly more expensive, can work out far more cost effective overall, than attending public courses.
All of our computer graphics training courses are workshop style rather than classroom. By this we mean that real world examples are used to illustrate the learning, and we strongly encourage participants to bring along examples of the type of work they wish to produce. By taking you through the process of achieving the end result, this ensures that when you return to your desk the next day you are confident, immediately productive and the training is extremely cost effective.

For example, to enrol more than one attendee from the same company on the same bespoke course, then they pay on top of the rate quoted only an additional £100 + VAT per day for each additional attendee*. As a consequence, groups of three or more employees, can experience a bespoke course for less than the cost of an open classroom based course. Added to which, with the bespoke course, the content can be tailored to the company's specific requirements.
CGT now also offers online courses, with a dedicated tutor watching your every move, so that you can benefit from all the advantages of a bespoke training course but without the need to spend a day or more at a time away from your work.
