Course program
Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology
Time: 10am to 4pm
Course comprises of theory and practical tuition carried out at either the Academy or your workplace with assignments completed as home study.
You will have an underpinning knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body.
Course syllabus
• Health, hygiene, safety & legislation
• Theory of anatomy, physiology & pathology: muscles, skin, etc
• Related human anatomy physiology & pathology
• Benefits of anatomy related to specific treatments
• Step-by-step guide to anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body
• Written assessment / formative / summative
• Guidance on portfolio building
• Workbooks are completed as self study at home to reinforce learning
Candidates wishing to achieve this qualification will need to build a portfolio of evidence containing written, assignments, workbooks & all other relevant underpinning knowledge and written paper to be submitted to awarding body
Day 1 & 2 - Practical Skills on Anatomy, Pathology and Physiology: Introduction to course work health and safety.

Welcome to NBTA – the Specialist Beauty Training provider available across the UK providing NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 VTCT qualifications in Nail Services, Beauty and Holistic Therapies.
The NBTA is a modern, established company and has an excellent reputation in the beauty industry for its specialist intensive training programs. We are totally committed to putting standards first and for this reason we do not accept more than 5 students per session. This ensures that a professional standard has been achieved in a short time and the atmosphere during the training is relaxed and friendly.
Most of our students have no previous experience in beauty therapy. Usually they are interested in the subject and enjoy the treatments themselves. However, many existing therapist have also attended our courses, enabling them to offer a more extensive selection of treatments to their established client base.
A career as a beauty therapist allows you to earn an income doing something you enjoy and the opportunity to open your own business. During the course, emphasis is placed on practical work in small group sessions, where each student receives a great deal of individual attention. As we teach in small groups of five we have a 100 percent pass rate.
Students are overwhelmed at how quickly they are able to learn new treatments and how confident and competent they feel after just a few days of training with us. Students travel a considerable distance to train with us due to our growing reputation across the UK.
Following successful completion of a course you will be awarded the relevant VTCT or NVQ Qualification. You can then set up your own business working from home, a salon or as a mobile therapist.

All professional tutors are highly qualified in the subject(s) areas with commercial experience. Each lecturer is an expert in essential day-to-day beauty treatments and is a level 4 qualified in teaching and assessing. Having worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years and teaching for 6 years. Due to expansion NBTA are proud to welcome the new team; who are all passionate about teaching.
