Whilst the size of your company may make you exempt from needing one or more trained First Aiders on site, is/are your appointed person/s able to render basic first aid should the need arise? As emergency services are often delayed, having trained lay responders on site to act as the first link in the chain of survival could mean the difference between a fatality and someone leaving hospital well on the road to recovery. |

Course program
The Emergency First Response Primary Care course offers your staff comprehensive, flexible, state of the art CPR and first aid training. Along with cutting edge student materials, flexible learning methods are offered to suit your staff’s availability. In just half a day, your staff could be trained to save a life. They would walk away from the Emergency First Response Primary Care course with the confidence to care should an emergency situation arise.
This half day programme is for employees who require an Appointed Person for first aid in the workplace. This qualification does not qualify the candidate to be an HSE approved first aider. We cover the following
Welcome and introduction
Health and safety introduction
First aid aims objectives
Your responsibility as a first aider
Managing first aid incident
Primary assessment (initial care of conscious and unconscious casualty)
Recovery positions
Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
