Course content
Accidents and illness, Using a first aid kit, simple record keeping, Treatment of an unconscious casualty, Heart attacks
Resuscitation, Shock, Choking, Bleeding
Burns and scalds, Poisoning,Fractures
Seizures, Asthma, Severe allergic reaction
eye injuries, low blood sugar, fainting.
For those who will use this course in a sporting context I also include soft tissue and skeletal injuries
Course duration
Three days. The course is usually offered as three consecutive days, however, we also offer it as a split course over two or three weeks at some centres.
