First Aid course generating an approved certificate lasting three years.
This eighteen hour approved first aid training (UK) course is recommended as the preferred requirement for all workplaces with five employees or more in a MEDIUM and HIGH risk environments and in highly populated low risk environments.

• Scene Safety
• Approaching a Casualty
• Assessing a Casualty
• Clearing the Airway
• Recovery Position
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Alternative Ventilation Procedures
• Introduction to Automated External Defibrillation
• Choking
• Severe Bleeding
• Shock Management
• Surveys, History Taking and Physical Assessment
• Respiratory Illnesses: Asthma, Hyperventilation, Chest Injuries
• Circulatory Illnesses: Angina, Heart Attack, Stroke, Fainting
• Environmental Injuries: Electrical, Burns
• Environmental Illnesses: Frostbite, Hypothermia, Heat Exhaustion, Heat Stroke
• Nervous System Illnesses: Epilepsy and Seizures, Head and Spine
• Medical Conditions: Allergies, Anaphylactic Shock, Diabetic Emergencies, Poisoning
• Injuries: Eyes, Fractures, Dislocations, Sprains and Strains, Crush/Compression
• Health and Safety: First Aid Kits, 'RIDDOR', 'COSHH', Accident Recording
