Prepares for:This course will provide you with the skills to produce interactive rich media for websites or e-learning projects. Learn the difference between a shape tween and a motion tween , a movie clip and a graphic symbol. Control the timeline with actionscript 2.0 and 3.0 to add interactivity to buttons, Create animated buttons and rollovers to really engage your audience. This course will allow you to create a presentation or microsite complete with audio, video and a preloader.
Geared towards:This two day course is aimed at those wanting to create engaging rich media content using the industry standard in interactive design.

Course program

Day one

1. Working in Adobe Flash
Working in Adobe Flash and setting stage dimensions, Working with panels and panel layouts, Setting preferences and identifying the development cycle and Publishing a file

2. Creating and importing graphic assets
Creating and importing graphic assets, Working with different graphic formats, Importing bitmap and vector graphics and Working with layers and layer folders

3. Using the drawing tools
Using the drawing, object and merge drawing tools and working with the colour panels

4. Creating and using graphic symbols
Creating and using graphic symbols and using the library panel

5. Using text effectively
Using text effectively and the text tool, Adding static text and changing font rendering methods, Adding input text fields and embedding fonts and Using font best practices

Day 2

1. Creating animations
Creating animations and working with the Timeline, Using keyframes, blank keyframes, and frames, Creating motion tweens and shape tween and Creating transition effects and using best practices

2. Adding Adobe Flash Action Script 2.0 and 3.0
Adding Flash ActionScript with Script Assist, and the basics of AS 3.0 – event listeners.

3. Creating and using button symbols
Creating and using button symbols and adding behaviors and Loading external Adobe Flash SWFs

4. Using moving clips
Using moving clips and creating movie clip symbols and Organising a movie clip timeline and Using actions to control a timeline using frame labels.
