Course program
Whilst we always advocate getting things right ‘in-camera’ as far as possible there will always be things that you want to change or improve after the shot has been taken. Photoshop Elements is a popular and powerful piece of software for carrying out most of the editing and post-processing tasks that you are ever likely to need. This course will give you a thorough grounding in the basics of this software.
You will learn about:
How to use the main tools and features
Re-touching techniques for portraits
Removing unwanted background items
Correcting exposure and colour problems
Creative filters and effects
How to give your images that professional look
......and much more
This half-day seminar is classroom based and will provide a tour of the main features of Photoshop Elements through demonstration using example images from our archives. You will learn how to process images to create a polished and professional look.
The seminar is being held at Sedgebrook Hall in Northamptonshire commencing at 10am and finishing around 1pm depending on questions. Refreshments will be provided during the seminar but lunch is not included.
No prior knowledge of Photoshop Elements is required but a reasonable level of computer knowledge will be expected as we will not be teaching how to use a computer. It doesn’t matter what type of digital camera you own, ie SLR, bridge or compact. Please note that we will only be covering the editing module of Photoshop Elements and not the Organiser or Adobe Camera RAW. If you would like one-to-one coaching on RAW conversion software please contact us separately.
This course is also available as a special offer with one of our other seminars running on the same day in the afternoon.
On 4th August we are also running our How To Shoot Weddings seminar and on 18th August we are also running our How To Shoot Motorsport seminar. Combine the photoshop seminar with one of these other seminars to make a full day of learning at the special price of £80 for both (usually £45 each). Please note that lunch is not included with these options but bar meals and snacks are available at the venue or nearby.
