Course program
This popular event is aimed at those trying to involve local people in the decisions which shape their environment and affect their quality of life. The workshop will focus on the values which underpin effective consultation, helping people make a meaningful contribution to decision making, identifying under-represented stakeholders and helping their views to be heard. The workshop will use real scenarios backed up with theory to consider why some consultation processes work well and others leave partners and stakeholders feeling disengaged.
