| Prepares for: | This course is designed to give delegates a broad understanding of the ‘Managing Successful Programmes’ (MSP) philosophy. It is delivered using the latest MSP manual and syllabus, published in August 2011. Delegate will also be able to use their knowledge gained to help manage the programmes within their organisation and achieve strategic objectives. The foundation exam, taken at the end of the course consists of: • Question booklet contains 75 questions – 70 exam questions and 5 trial questions. • Pass mark is a total of 35 or more out of a possible 70 (50%). • 1 hour multiple choice, closed book. Typically pre-course preparation will require 2-3 hours of study. |
| Geared towards: | The course is recommended for managers who have recently been given a programme role, for programme support staff, for specialists contributing to a programme, and for senior executives directing a programme. For those who are looking for a higher level qualification, please see the MSP Foundation and Practitioner combined course. |
| Requirements: | There are no pre-requisites to attend this course. Delegates should be aware of Programme Management and either be working in a programme environment or looking to. |

This course takes place over three days, including the optional MSP Foundation examination. Delegates should be aware that considerable evening preparation and consolidation will be required to pass the exam. Joining instructions are sent out approximately 2 – 3 weeks before the course.
