The subjects

This course comprises SEVEN subjects that lead to the full NCTJ Diploma in
Journalism.

There are FIVE compulsory core skills subjects:

• Reporting
• Portfolio
• Essential media law
• Essential public affairs
• Shorthand

AND you choose TWO of the following specialist options:

• Media law court reporting
• Sports journalism
• Video journalism for online
• Business of magazines
• Production journalism
• Broadcast journalism
