Requirements:There are no formal entry requirements for this course however, delegates will need to complete a multiple choice paper examination.

Course program

This qualification complements the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace. Aimed at those who carry out manual handling at work, it introduces candidates to the risks of manual handling and the controls available.
Delegates generally combine this course with the COSHH course that follows in the afternoon. This course covers the following:

The process of manual handling in the workplace.
Manual handling injuries and the activities, which cause them.
Manual handling assessment and control options.
Responsibilities imposed by the manual handling operations regulations.
