Quark XPress

During this training course participants will learn the key features of Quark XPress, including manipulating text and graphics, setting up and using master pages, style sheets, and colour. Integration of Quark XPress with other applications is also be covered including importing text, picture formats, printing and preparing files for output.

A background in graphics, whilst helpful is not essential, as concepts, digital formats, colour modes and a brief overview of the print production process will be discussed during the course.

Participants are encouraged to bring along real projects to make these sessions both cost effective and productive.

However, due to our revised pricing structure on our bespoke courses, if a company has a requirement to train two or more members of staff on the same software package(s), they may find it far more beneficial, for a minor increase in cost, to register their staff on one of our bespoke courses. For example, to enrol more than one attendee from the same company on the same bespoke course, then they pay on top of the rate quoted only an additional £100 + VAT per day for each additional attendee*. As a consequence, groups of three or more employees, can experience a bespoke course for less than the cost of an open classroom based course. Added to which, with the bespoke course, the content can be tailored to the company's specific requirements.
