Course program
This course consists of 25 hours per week divided into 5 lessons a day; firstly grammar and afterwards the conversation class. In addition to that, the course includes one hour of private tutorial in which the teacher adapts the topics to the needs and objectives of the student.
In the grammar module the student studies grammar and vocabulary in a dynamic and communicative way. The new concepts and contents are presented in texts, audio or images. In order to consolidate the new structures, some practical exercises are conducted afterwards.
In the conversation module the student improves his communicative abilities. Emphasis is put on the four linguistic skills although the main focus is expression as well as oral comprehension.
Our Spanish courses for foreigners take place the whole year without interruption; starting date for all levels is every Monday (only in case that Monday is a bank holiday they begin on Tuesday) and the minimum duration for a course is one week.
The lessons last 55 minutes and our groups are pretty small with a maximum of 6/8 students (10 in summer) which assures a very intensive learning experience.
Classes usually take place in the mornings, from Monday to Friday – only in summer some might be in the afternoon as well (depending on groups and levels).
All Pylmon teachers are native speakers qualified with degree in Hispanic Philology /Spanish Philology. They are professionals who have long work experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
We think that progress of studying a language should not only take place in class. Therefore we also offer you culture and leisure activities in order to get to know the city of Barcelona and its surroundings while at the same time practicing Spanish. With our "Pylmon Social Club" you can participate in activities with your fellow students. Apart from that, every course includes one lesson of Spanish culture every week.
Our school is located in the heart of Barcelona within a five-minute walking distance from Plaza Catalunya. Many foreigners are attracted to learn Spanish in Barcelona because there is no doubt that it is the most attractive city in Spain and also offers a wide cultural and leisure activities.
