Torquay International School

We offer excellent English courses for students looking to learn English for pleasure, study and business courses. Our highlights are our popular General English courses, our executive business courses and our exam preparation courses.

In terms of accommodation, we offer host family accommodation, apartments very close to the school (5-15 minutes walking), as well as our very own Hotel, which exclusively accommodates TIS students and is situated right opposite the school. New for 2012 - we will offer a student residence, designed for 18-25 year olds, reasonably priced, and 15 minutes walk from the school. to come in 2012!

Torquay is a very pretty town, located by the sea in the beautiful region of South Devon. It is a safe town, with high standards of living and low crime rates. Thanks to its small size, everything is easy to reach and students need not spend lots of money on public transportation. All of our host families are within 30 minutes walk of the school, and the school is just 5 minutes walk from the main town high street and 15 minutes walk from the sea front.
