Course program

Using solar plates is a welcome alternative to complicated and sometimes hazardous print processes. Drawings, photographs and collages can be translated easily and quickly into high-quality intaglio and relief prints and embossing. You will learn the basics of exposing, developing and printing a plate, and be given the tools to play with to enable you to find a way of manipulating the technique to suit your own way of working.

The cost of the course includes 1 A4 size solar plate. This course is suited to those with some previous experience of etching, who want to experiment with new techniques, but we can also accommodate beginners.
